Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kulusuk 

  • Fly into Kulusuk from either Keflavik International Airport in Reykjavik or Nuuk International Airport in West Greenland.
  • Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your guides and introduced to the other travelers.
  • Overnight in a tent with a comfortable mattress and warm sleeping bag.

Days 2-9: Arctic Adventure and Cultural Immersion

  • Travel 200-300 km north from Kulusuk over the course of the journey.
  • Spot wildlife including whales, seals, birds, and potentially polar foxes at various campsites.
  • Enjoy guided tours and learn traditional Inuit hunting and survival techniques from your experienced guides.
  • Participate in catching and cooking local game such as birds, seals, and fish.
  • Stay in tents or on the boat each night, with all necessary camping gear and warm clothing provided.

Day 10: Overnight Stay in a Settlement

  • On your final day, explore a settlement.
  • Return to Kulusuk Airport and prepare for your departure back to Reykjavik or Nuuk.

Tobias is one of only three operators in Greenland who has been approved by Greenlandic law to conduct polar bear sightseeing and photography tours with paying guests.
